My Underarm Routine 2019: Using The Happy Organics Products

     Greetings everyone :) My apologies for not posting/being active for a year I think. Been so busy with my masters degree, new work, and a miserable lovelife  -_- Anyways, today I wanna share with you guys my current underarm routine.

     Just like our face and body, our armpits need extra care too. However, our skin on these area may tend to be more sensitive compare to other parts of our body, so it would be advisable to use products that are intended for our UAs. Unfortunately, I have to learn this a hard way. Just a throwback, I used to wash my armpit using St. Ives body wash every single day. Then once or twice a week I would scrub it using St. Ives Apricot Scrub (which is intended for the face, obviously). Sadly, it burned/irritated my skin. It hurts T_T I can really feel the burning sensation on the skin of my UA for days. So I stopped using St. Ives for my skin. Then when it healed, it left a line of dark scar which I am trying to fade/lighten right now. That's why I decided to invest in an UA skincare routine. Please note that it's not the St. Ives, it's me, char haha. I should realize that it's harsh/not suitable on my skin and I shouldn't use anything that's not intended for my UA. Right now I have to make my armpit whiter and brighter, brighter than my future, chos hehe.

      Kidding aside, just a short review. The Happy Organics are known for their all-natural, eco-friendly and affordable organic products available locally. You can check their products/shop on The Happy Organics FB Page or thehappyorganics.ph

     So, let's start. First, let's talk about the grooming process. I personally would like to pluck my armpit hair. I know plucking may not be for everyone but this one really works for me. After plucking, my armpit hair tend to grow softer, which I find hard to pluck and that is the only time I will shave my UA. Shaving, plucking, and even waxing may cause chicken skin, that's why we need to do extra steps/effort for our armpits. Although if you're on a budget you may opt to choose laser hair removals at a legit skin salons.

     After grooming, choosing the right deodorant (if you use one) is important. It took me a while before I found the right deo for me. I tried roll-ons, deo spray and powder-type deo (which also works for me). But currently I am using The Happy Organics Whitening Deo Mist. It promise to lighten underarms and keep it odor-free without the white stains.

    I love that this smells so good. Although I don't have a sweaty UA, I believe this is also great as anti-perspirant and it also has whitening ingredients on it. Really satisfied with this one. It is also paraben-free.

     Next, is my underrated,holy grail product. Baby oils or simply oils. I use Johnson & Johnson baby oil, but any oil will do. This is a game changer for me. Never thought of this before. I only learned it on youtube. It is the same sense with oil cleansing for the face. Our cleansers/soaps sometimes are not enough to deeply cleanse our skin but oils can. So what I do is using may fingers, I will massage gently the oil on my armpit and leave it there for few minutes (if I still have time). Then get a cotton ball, put some oil then gently massage it again on my UA and there you can see a bit of residue on the cotton ball. Then, take a bath after that.

     After taking a bath, I will use The Happy Organics Underarm Whitening Tonique. This promise to deeply cleanse, exfoliates and minimize the appearance of pores for a whiter and smoother underarms.

     This is the first time I saw an underarm toner, honestly. I mean, I've never seen one before that's intended for our armpits. This also smells so good and those organic ingredients are actually known to naturally lightens the skin. I just use cotton ball, spritz some of the toner and rub it to my UA. Here you can also see a tad bit of residue on you armpits which is amazing.

     Lastly, is The Happy Organics Underarm Whitening Cream.

     What I love about this product is it does not leave a white mark/stain on my armpit when I put it. It is translucent so you can actually use it at day and is easily absorbed by the skin. This, also, smells so good.

     Almost all of THO's products I purchased actually smells so good, that's why I love using them. What I also love about their products is that it is natural/organic and affordable. It also has a decent amount for the product which will last a month or so.

     So here is the step-by-step process of my underarm skincare routine:

Morning
1. First, baby oil, gently massage then take a bath;
2. Then, use the THO Whitening Tonique for extra cleansing;
3. Lastly, use the THO Deo Mist and we're ready to go.

Evening
1. Again, baby oil. You may want to leave it or massage it for few minutes before taking a bath;
2. Then, use THO Whitening Tonique;
3. Lastly is the THO Whitening Cream.

     And that's it for my current underarm routine. Overall, I love the products and my routine. What I've noticed is the drastic decrease of chicken skin on my armpits. Let's see after weeks or months of using for the whitening/lightening effect. Remember to do this gently, to avoid irritating the skin. Anyway, I bought mine at Empress Avenue PH at Lazada.
